Taking a break from all that football, some of our members like to 'relax' with a game of badminton. Nothing serious or at a competition level - well, maybe in our fantasy as we play, maybe. This is just an hour from 11am - 12pm every Tuesday for an enjoyable, social game and a brew in the leisure room afterwards.. There's always room for another one, so if you fit in with the athletic forms in the image below, come along and join us at the Lifestyle Centre.

On Friday 4th October, Renegades secretary, Gary Shennan undertook a 9-hour darts marathon charity effort in order to fund a defibrillator for a local MacMillan Cancer supporting drop-in centre here in Wythenshawe. The Dandelion Centre advertises as: 

We are an inclusive radical church in South Manchester and meet Sundays in Wythenshawe 11-12.30midday and Wednesdays 11am-2pm.
We are working with Emmaus, Foodcycle and local and national organisations to reduce hunger, homelessness and climate change. We are the nearest church to Manchester Airport. We were the first Fair-trade church in Manchester. 

Gary, supported by other team members throughout his 9am-9pm effort, raised much more than his initial hopes of £500.
